Job summary

R.Lapid's Chicharon & Barbercue Laging Bagong Luto in the Philippines is seeking an Internal Audit professional to strengthen governance across retail stores, commissaries, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities.

The role focuses on evaluating compliance with company policies and food safety standards, identifying control gaps, preparing reports with root cause analysis, and supporting CAPA and risk management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in internal audit, operations audit, or compliance (retail or manufacturing preferred).
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of internal controls, audit processes, and risk management.
• Good understanding of retail/manufacturing operations and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across retail stores, commissaries, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities.
• Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and food safety standards.
• Perform process audits on inventory, cash handling, production, and store operations.
• Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and risks; recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare audit reports with findings, root cause analysis, and actionable recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support fraud detection, loss prevention, and risk management initiatives.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure audit readiness and compliance.

Education
