Job summary

Lear Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead the global intercompany accounting process, prepare journal entries, and perform balance sheet reconciliations. The role also oversees government financial reporting and analytical reporting as needed.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, CPA certification, and at least 2 years of combined accounting, audit, and FP&A experience. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performing monthly intercompany invoicing using Lear's intercompany invoicing system, facilitate payment of balances, reconcile balances with corresponding intercompany locations, and assist with dispute resolution during close.
• Building a good working relationship with global finance and accounting teams related to intercompany items.
• Preparing balance sheet general ledger account reconciliations using various accounting systems.
• Assisting Managers of Corporate Accounting with recording standard and non-standard journal entries on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Tracking, preparing, and filing various monthly and quarterly government financial reports.
• Developing ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by management.

THE ROLE:

KEY COMPETENCIES/DESCRIPTION

EDUCATION

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable school
• A Certified Public Accountant

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years combined experience in accounting, audit and financial planning & analysis.
