Job summary

Chevron Corporation in Makati City, Philippines, is seeking a finance professional to provide core accounting services including month-end close, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting. The role will deliver accurate financials and uphold control standards within a dynamic team environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and share expertise to strengthen organizational capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology and related courses.
• Demonstrated experience and background in Finance, Accounting, and/or Audit work.
• Effective communicator with stakeholders and teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Innovative and proactive in learning digital tools and technologies.
• Experience with digital tools and technology systems is an advantage.

About the Role

This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provides core finance and accounting services including month end close process and reconciliation activities
• Delivers accurate and timely financials and execute control performance
• Collaborates with different teams internally within Finance and across multi-functional teams to deliver value to the company
• Enables process improvement opportunities and projects by understanding the end-to-end processes and bringing your insights and ideas forward
• Supports organizational capability by sharing your knowledge and expertise

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree major in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology and related courses.
• Demonstrated experience and background in Finance, Accounting, and/or Audit work
• Effective communicator and able to build relationships with various stakeholders and teams
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Innovative and has passion for learning digital tools and technologies
• Experience and knowledge in digital tools and other technology systems is an advantage
