Job summary

Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI) is seeking an Accounting Analyst based in Makati City to support accounts receivable, inventory, and financial reporting. The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least five years of finance experience, with strong English communication and analytical skills.

You will perform month-end close, reconciliations, FX validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while upholding internal controls and SOX practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or management accounting.
  • Minimum of five (5) years overall work experience in finance, accounting or auditing.
  • Good English oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, employee receivables, and related accounting transactions.
  • Perform Inventory and Materials & Supplies accounting activities, including inventory monitoring, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze accruals, financial reports, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform Month-End Close (MEC) activities, including calculation and posting of accruals, adjustments, allocations, and other accounting entries related to inventory, receivables, and operating expenses.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
  • Maintain and validate foreign exchange (FX) rates and support related accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business objectives.
  • Manage account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items in accordance with accounting policies, SOX controls, and documentation requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate, simplify, standardize, and automate accounting and offshored finance processes, while supporting stabilization of transitioned activities.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following
