Job summary

vamasters, Inc. is expanding its back-office team with an experienced Property and Casualty Insurance Account Manager to support back-end operations for a growing commercial insurance agency.

You will manage policy documents and client records in the QQ Catalyst system, keep the agency organized, and serve as the point of contact with underwriters to ensure smooth submissions. This role seeks hands-on P&C agency experience and an ability to relieve the producer so they can focus on selling,

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Property and Casualty CSR or Account Manager.
• Working knowledge of commercial insurance lines (workers' comp, business auto, general liability).
• Experience using an agency management system (e.g., QQ Catalyst, Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft).
• Strong phone and written English communication skills.
• Strong data entry and record-keeping accuracy.
• Accountable, methodical, and able to deliver without hand-holding.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, client-ready manner.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming policies and store them in client records within the agency management system (QQ Catalyst).
• Update policy details, client information, and account data accurately and on schedule.
• Take care of back-end agency operations such as emails, document handling, and scheduling.
• Work with underwriters over phone and email to back quoting and submissions.
• Foster solid working relationships with underwriters and carrier contacts.
• Assist commercial lines accounts like workers' compensation, business auto, and general liability.
• Keep client files, policy records, and account documentation orderly.
• Track down pending items and raise issues or missing information with the agent.
• Maintain a tidy, current, well-organized agency management system.

We're anchoring our back office with an experienced Property and Casualty Insurance Account Manager to support the back-end operations of a growing commercial insurance agency. You will manage policy documents and client records in our agency management system, keep the agency organized, and act as a point of contact with underwriters. This role rewards someone with hands-on P&C agency experience who can take work off the producer's plate so the producer can focus on selling.

Preferred Skills:

• Direct experience with QQ Catalyst
• Experience communicating with underwriters and building carrier relationships

• Good at keeping a mix of accounts and priorities moving without dropping any
• Comfort learning new systems and processes quickly
