Job summary

Horizon Auto Services Inc. (HASI) is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to manage motor insurance processing for vehicle buyers, ensuring timely policy issuance, renewals, and compliant documentation within our dealership network.

You will collaborate with Sales Consultants, insurance partners, and customers to deliver efficient insurance solutions that support vehicle sales and customer satisfaction, with onsite work across Metro Manila and regional branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business/Marketing/Finance/Insurance or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in insurance coordination, sales administration, banking, financing, or auto dealership operations.
• Experience in vehicle insurance processing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of vehicle insurance policies and underwriting processes preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process insurance applications for vehicle purchases.
• Coordinate with accredited insurers for quotations, policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals.
• Prepare, verify, and submit complete insurance documentation.
• Monitor policy issuance and ensure timely release before vehicle delivery.
• Assist Sales Consultants in explaining insurance products and coverage options.
• Prepare insurance quotations based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate insurance requirements to support timely vehicle releases.
• Follow up pending insurance applications and required customer documents.
• Maintain accurate insurance records and customer files.
• Monitor policy expirations and coordinate renewal reminders.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly insurance sales and processing reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, insurance regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies and brokers.

Key Objectives:

The Insurance Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the end-to-end processing of motor insurance requirements for vehicle buyers, ensuring timely policy issuance, renewal coordination, and documentation. Key Responsibilities:

Insurance Processing

• Process insurance applications for vehicle purchases.

• Coordinate with accredited insurance providers for quotations, policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals.

• Prepare, verify, and submit complete insurance documentation.

• Monitor policy issuance and ensure timely release before vehicle delivery.

Sales Support

• Assist Sales Consultants in explaining available insurance products and coverage options to customers.

• Prepare insurance quotations based on customer requirements.

• Coordinate insurance requirements to support timely vehicle releases.

Customer Service

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding insurance coverage, claims procedures, renewals, and policy concerns.

• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the insurance process.

• Resolve insurance-related concerns by coordinating with insurance partners.

Coordination & Administration

• Maintain accurate insurance records and customer files.

• Monitor policy expirations and coordinate renewal reminders.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly insurance sales and processing reports.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, insurance regulations, and documentation requirements.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with accredited insurance companies and brokers.

• Support dealership sales targets by ensuring efficient insurance processing and customer satisfaction.

• Assist in dealership promotions involving insurance packages and value-added services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, or any related field.

• At least 1–2 years of experience in insurance coordination, sales administration, banking, financing, or automotive dealership operations.

• Experience in vehicle insurance processing is an advantage.

• Knowledge of vehicle insurance policies, documentation, and underwriting processes is preferred.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

• Willing to work on a six (6)-day workweek.

• Must be willing to be assigned onsite to any of our branches in:

  • Metro Manila: Alabang and Las Piñas

  • Bicol Region: Camarines Sur and Legazpi, Albay

  • Central Visayas: Tagbilaran, Bohol
