Job summary

Changhong Technology PHL Corporation is seeking a skilled Injection Molding Technician to set and adjust machine parameters to ensure quality products. You will start up, monitor, and shut down machines following standard procedures and collaborate with Mold Setters and Quality staff to meet production targets.

You will troubleshoot process issues, monitor cycle times, record data, and participate in mold trials and process improvements while maintaining 5S and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in injection molding operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set and adjust injection molding machine parameters to achieve quality products.
• Start up, monitor, and shut down injection molding machines according to standard procedures.
• Perform machine troubleshooting and resolve process-related issues.
• Monitor cycle time, machine efficiency, and production output.
• Conduct first-piece approval and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Identify and correct molding defects such as flash, short shot, sink marks, burn marks, warpage, and discoloration.
• Coordinate with Mold Setters, Production Operators, and Quality personnel to ensure smooth production.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance and report machine or mold abnormalities.
• Record process parameters, machine settings, and production data accurately.
• Support mold trials, new product development, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with 5S, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
