Role Description The Infrastructure Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Makati. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s and clients’ core IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and related systems. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, performing routine maintenance, managing backups, and ensuring high availability and security of infrastructure components. The Infrastructure Engineer will troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and contribute to infrastructure upgrades and optimization projects. The role also involves documenting configurations, following established procedures, and supporting incident and change management processes.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance (servers, storage, virtualization, cloud or on-prem environments).
• System administration skills, including operating systems management (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), patching, and backup/restore procedures.
• Networking skills covering switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and network protocols.
• Knowledge of network security principles, tools, and best practices to protect systems and data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, Linux, or cloud certifications) are an advantage.
