Role Description

This full-time, on-site Information Technology Support Engineer role is based in Caraga, Philippines. The position is responsible for providing day-to-day technical and help desk support to internal users and clients, including responding to incidents, service requests, and inquiries. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, performing system administration tasks, and maintaining stable and secure IT environments. The IT Support Engineer will document solutions, update knowledge bases, coordinate with senior engineers and vendors when needed, and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and service quality.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills, including ticket management and user assistance.
• Candidates should possess solid Information Technology and System Administration skills for managing servers, workstations, and networked systems.
• Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Relevant experience with cloud services, Microsoft 365, Windows and/or Linux environments, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) is beneficial.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, accessible language.
• Ability to work on-site in Butuan City, Caraga, Philippines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar credentials, and prior experience in a managed services or MSP environment are an advantage.
