Role Description

The Information Technology Operations Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Makati, with a combination of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day IT operations, including monitoring systems, handling incident and service requests, and ensuring the availability and reliability of IT services. The specialist will provide technical support to internal users, perform troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network components, and escalating issues to senior engineers or vendors when necessary. Regular tasks include system administration activities such as account management, patching, backups, and basic configuration changes, as well as maintaining documentation of procedures and configurations. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams on IT improvements, contributing to security and data resiliency initiatives, and assisting in project implementation and testing.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in IT Operations and Information Technology, with atleast 5 years experience supporting enterprise environments.
• Candidates should possess System Administration skills, including user management, information security, backups, patching, and routine maintenance.
• Relevant skills in incident management, ticketing systems, and adherence to ITIL or similar best practices are beneficial.
• Ability to document processes, configurations, and solutions clearly and accurately.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
