• Experience in risk assessment, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of network, application, cloud security, and data protection.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading security projects and cross-functional teams, with global collaboration.
• Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA or data protection regulations.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

About the role

ReSource Pro Operational Solutions Philippines Inc. is seeking an Information Security Senior Specialist to join our growing team. This is a full-time, work-from-home position based in Metro Manila, offering the flexibility to work remotely whilst contributing to critical security initiatives within our organisation. In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive information security strategies that protect our organisation's digital assets and infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, whilst driving security awareness and best practices across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability evaluations, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks

• Design and oversee the deployment of security solutions and controls to protect organisational systems, networks, and data

• Monitor security incidents, investigate breaches, and coordinate incident response activities to minimise impact

• Manage security compliance programmes and ensure adherence to standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and other relevant frameworks

• Lead security awareness and training initiatives to foster a security-conscious culture across the organisation

• Provide security guidance and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders on emerging threats and mitigation strategies

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security roles, with at least 3 years in a project management role.

• Advanced knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls

• Proven expertise in risk assessment, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response

• Strong understanding of network security, application security, cloud security, and data protection principles

• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM platforms, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar industry-recognized credentials

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical audiences

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail

• Experience in managing security projects, leading cross-functional teams, and has experience working with a global team.

• Knowledge of compliance requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, or other data protection regulations

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment whilst maintaining high standards of collaboration and accountability
