Job summary

RTX is seeking an industrial engineering professional to lead capital projects, coordinate facility expansion and equipment installation, and manage contractor activities. The role involves ensuring safety, compliance, and timely delivery across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years in manufacturing engineering or project engineering, strong Excel/PowerPoint/AutoCAD skills, and excellent communication to translate technical issues into management updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with 4–5 years of manufacturing engineering, industrialization or project engineering experience.
• Ability to plan scope, schedule, milestones, risks, resources, cost and deliverables; capable of leading technical projects.
• Proficient with process flow, line balancing, tooling/fixtures, quality controls and production handover.

What You Will Do

• Lead capital projects execution, manage facility expansion/retrofit, coordinate equipment installation and qualification, oversee contractor management, ensure project compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Able to analyst and create routine & labor hours calculation.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering or related Engineering, with 4-5 years experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization or project engineering. Able to plan scope, schedule, milestones, risks, resources, cost, and deliverables; able to lead technical projects.
• Process flow, work instructions, tooling/fixtures, line balancing, capacity planning, quality controls, validation, ramp-up, and production handover.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint & AutoCAD, competent Word and Outlook; familiarity with a scheduling tool is a plus.
• Clear written and verbal communication, ability to translate technical issues into management updates.

This position is classified as: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work. Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
