Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks an experienced customer service/order processing professional. You will receive and process orders, expedite delivery, and handle inquiries while coordinating with supply chain, shipping, engineering, and quality teams to ensure on-time fulfillment.

You will also address customer complaints, prepare billing adjustments, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in E1 ERP system.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in sales order processes and customer service inquiries.
  • Familiarity with EHS standards and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
  • Receive, review, and process customer orders, RFQs, and requirements in line with contractual terms.
  • Handle customer requests, including order expediting, delivery updates, and cancellations.
  • Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Create credit and debit note requests for billing adjustments or disputes.
  • Coordinate urgent AOG support to resolve aircraft-on-ground issues quickly.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, shipping, engineering, and quality teams to communicate requirements.
  • Generate Open Order Book reports and participate in discussions with customers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and meet KPIs, EH&S standards.

Communicate effectively and professionally with customers. Receive, review, and process customer orders, RFQs, and requirements in line with contractual terms. Handle customer requests, including order expediting, delivery updates, and cancellations. Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution. Creation of credit and debit note requests for customer billing adjustments, corrections, or complaint resolution. Handle AOG calls by coordinating urgent support to resolve aircraft‑on‑ground issues quickly. Ensure timely and accurate communication of requirements to supply chain, shipping, engineering, and quality teams. Manage customer shipping instructions and coordinate with logistics teams for timely order dispatch. Generate Open Order Book reports based on customer requirements. Facilitate and support Open Order Book discussions with customers. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Meet or exceed customer service KPIs and business goals. Comply with EH&S standards and actively report hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
