Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX business, is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure milestones and budgets are met, while facilitating executive decisions and aligning on scope.

The role requires strong leadership, deep program-management expertise, and proficiency with MS Excel/PowerPoint, MS Project, and AutoCAD to review and approve plant layouts and production lines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 5–7 years in program/project management in manufacturing.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiar with project-planning tools.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related Engineering or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in program management, project management, industrialization, manufacturing engineering & operations.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience leading or supervising cross-functional teams, project teams, technicians, engineers, or external suppliers/contractors in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of project-planning and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Teams, or equivalent.
  • Working proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing, marking up, updating, and approving 2D plant, production-line, equipment, workstation, material-flow, and re-layout drawings.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence Engineering, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, EHS, Finance, suppliers, and management without direct authority.
