Job summary

Nestlé Philippines, Inc. at Nestlé Tanauan Factory is seeking an Industrial Services Operator II (Chemical Engineer) to help operate and maintain the plant's utility systems, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations.

You will monitor performance, perform basic troubleshooting, and assist in wastewater treatment and environmental control initiatives to support sustainable factory operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in industrial utilities or plant operations is desirable.
• Knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, and environmental controls is a plus.

Industrial Services Operator II (Chemical Engineer)

Location: Nestlé Tanauan Factory (FPIP)

Are you experienced in operating and maintaining industrial utility systems? Join Nestlé Tanauan Factory and help ensure the reliable supply of essential utilities while supporting environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across the factory.

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor utility systems, including:

  • Steam and hot water boilers
  • Air compressors
  • Chillers and cooling towers
  • Water treatment systems
  • Wastewater treatment plant
  • Fire fighting equipment and pumps

• Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.

• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance activities.

• Record operational parameters, readings, and maintenance activities in logbooks and reports.

• Support utility quality checks, water analysis, and environmental monitoring activities.

• Assist in wastewater treatment operations, chemical handling, pollution prevention programs, and environmental control initiatives.

• Support environmental compliance requirements and regulatory reporting activities.

• Coordinate with production and other teams regarding utility requirements and equipment status.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and sustainability standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas.

• Help prevent equipment breakdowns through proper monitoring and preventive actions.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred)
• At least 1-2 years of experience in industrial utilities, plant operations, maintenance, wastewater treatment, environmental compliance, or related functions. But we are also open to consider fresh graduates.
• Knowledge of boiler operations, water treatment systems, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, wastewater treatment equipment, and environmental control processes.
• Understanding of chemical handling, pollution prevention, environmental compliance, and regulatory reporting is an advantage.
• Able to interpret equipment readings, monitor operating parameters, and perform basic troubleshooting.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules.
