Maynilad Water Services, Inc. is seeking aMaintenance Technician with Electrical Technologies background to operate MODTP via SCADA and a centralized control panel.
The role involves hourly data collection, chemical usage monitoring, water sampling, equipment status checks, and basic maintenance tasks on site. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical/ Electro-mechanical/Mechanical Technology, with 1+ year in water treatment and NC II certifications preferred.
1. Operation of the MODTP thru SCADA software or through a centralized control panel system, depending on the plant
2. Hourly monitoring & recording of operational data (intake level, tank levels, raw & product flowrates, etc.)
3. Monitoring & recording of chemical consumption & chemical feed rates
4. On-site water sampling and analysis, as needed
5. Monitoring of equipment status & performance
6. Calibration of chemical dosing pumps
7. Basic troubleshooting of equipment & valves
8. Refilling of chemical tanks
9. Semi-annual cleaning of tanks
10. Monitoring of intake conditions
11. Monitoring of facility & equipment status & condition
12. Manual RO CIP
13. Reporting of any equipment failure or chemical leaks to the operations engineer-on-duty
14. GenSet operations
15. Assist engineer to conduct & perform of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and other related maintenance activities.
16. Other tasks deemed to be necessary
Bachelor of Technology Graduate major in Electrical Technology, Electro-mechanical Technology or Mechanical Technology
Preferably with at least one year of experience in water treatment plant operation or any related field
Preferably with certification in any of the following:
1. NC II – Instrumentation and Control Servicing
2. NC II – Electrical Installation and Maintenance
