Job summary

Nestlé Philippines, Inc. in Cabuyao, Laguna, is seeking an Area Engineer to support plant maintenance and improvement initiatives across the Cabuyao Factory.

You will help ensure reliable operations, reduce unplanned downtime, and optimize maintenance costs while improving asset performance. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality and Safety teams to drive continuous improvement, implement standards, and build technical capability within the maintenance group to sustain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Maintenance, Industrial Services, Electrical & Automation, or Engineering Operations, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, breakdown analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems, maintenance planning, and cost control.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Safety, and Engineering.
• Exposure to project management, problem-solving methodologies, or asset improvement programs is an advantage.
• Professional Engineering license or relevant technical certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to be assigned at Nestlé Cabuyao Factory, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of planned maintenance activities and maintenance routines within the assigned production area
• Participate in asset reliability and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment breakdowns and improve operational efficiency
• Support maintenance budget planning, tracking, and cost control activities
• Conduct and facilitate root cause and breakdown analysis to address recurring equipment issues
• Ensure effective use of maintenance management systems and engineering standards
• Assist in building technical capability and maintenance competencies within the maintenance team
• Partner with Production and Engineering teams to improve equipment performance, safety, quality, and asset utilization
• Support the implementation of maintenance, engineering, safety, and quality standards across the factory
