Job summary

AUS CONSTRUCTION in the Philippines is seeking an Automation & Instrumentation Engineer to design, program, install, test, and maintain industrial automation and instrumentation systems for refrigeration facilities and process plants.

You will focus on PLC automation, SCADA/HMI, instrumentation controls, and energy optimization, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams to ensure safe, reliable plant operations and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automation and instrumentation systems for industrial refrigeration and process facilities.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, and VFD systems.
Install and calibrate instrumentation devices such as pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level sensors.
Prepare control logic diagrams, instrumentation layouts, P&ID references, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automation panels, field instruments, and control systems.
Monitor plant performance and recommend process improvements and energy-saving solutions.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams during project execution.
Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and operational procedures.
