Job summary

Autocontrol Engineering Services in the Philippines seeks an Instrumentation Engineer to plan, execute and manage instrumentation and control projects from start to finish. The role involves selecting sensors, transmitters, controllers, and other automation devices, coordinating procurement and vendor communications, and overseeing installation and tuning.

The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and have at least four years of experience in process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of work experience in process instrumentation, automation, or related engineering fields.
• Ability to read and interpret technical datasheets, wiring diagrams and loop diagrams.
• Strong project coordination and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage instrumentation and control projects from start to finish
• Select and specify sensors, transmitters, controllers, and other automation devices
• Coordinate procurement, vendor communication, and technical evaluations
• Oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning of instruments
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and optimize system performance
• Prepare project schedules, reports, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISA, IEC, ISO, ATEX, IECEX) and safety regulations
