Job summary

RTX, a global aerospace and defense leader, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer-ops to support new product development for lavs 3.0 (Group B onwards) in PH-BTG-TANAUAN CITY. This onsite role focuses on layout design, process efficiency, line balancing, time studies, and continuous improvement across production, warehouse, and suppliers.

The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline.
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience using CAD software such as AutoCad, Solidworks.
Knowledgeable in production process, material flow, layout and process flows, capacity planning.
Excellent computer skills & proficient with Microsoft Office.
Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and Value Stream Mapping.
Can read & understand CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

Layout designs and execution based on process design, bottleneck analysis, and line balancing; labor-hour setup.
Review current layout, space requirements, production processes, and material flows to identify improvement opportunities.
Develop and recommend efficient layout and flow of people, materials, manufacturing, and equipment.
Implement and execute layout improvement projects.
Perform motion and time studies, line balancing, resource planning, etc.
Perform cycle time and takt time analysis.
Drive standardization of processes through Standard Work Procedures and Standard Work Sheets.
Eliminate waste through continuous improvement projects.
Interact with production, warehouse, purchasing, facilities, suppliers, and contractors to implement the project.
Adhere to EHS practices and report hazards to ensure safety.
