Job summary

RTX in Tanauan, Philippines, onsite, seeks an Industrial Engineer-Operations to support new product development for lavs 3.0. You will design layouts, balance lines, study cycles and takt times, and drive standard work and waste elimination across manufacturing processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, with CAD skills (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and knowledge of Lean and value-stream mapping.

Qualifications

• Layout designs and execution based on SME’s process design, bottleneck analysis and efficiency improvements.
• Reviews current layout, space requirements, production processes and material flows to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develops, designs, and recommends efficient layout & flow of people, materials, manufacturing and equipment.
• Implements layout improvement projects.
• Performs motion and time studies, line balancing and resource planning.
• Performs cycle time and takt time analysis.
• Drives standardization through Standard Work Procedures and Standard Work Sheets.
• Eliminate waste through continuous improvement projects.
• Interacts with production, warehouse, purchasing, facilities, suppliers, and contractors to implement the project.
• Adheres to EHS practices and reporting for safety.
