Job summary

Yamaha Motor Philippines in Mandaluyong seeks a Quality Assurance/Pre-production Associate to oversee activities ensuring motorcycles meet safety and quality standards before trial and mass production.

You will work with Production Control, Production, Procurement, Logistics, QA, QE, and Engineering to review NG occurrences, manage data, and generate weekly KPI reports while supporting field service activities across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical.
• 0-1 year work experience in motorcycle.
• Knowledge of motorcycle/automotive industry is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Must be willing to work at Greenfield, Mandaluyong.

Responsibilities

• Confirm pre-production activities per QDS standards to ensure motorcycles are ready for trial and mass production.
• Collaborate with Production Control, Production, Procurement, Logistics, QA, QE, and Engineering.
• Review NG occurrences and develop countermeasures before mass production.
• Generate weekly and monthly KPI results (TSPR).
• Support service activities including At Your Service/MQS and ME/AU activities.

Job description

Confirmation of pre-production activities in accordance with Quality, Delivery, Safety, and Compliance standards, ensuring that motorcycles are in good condition before trial and mass production in collaboration with Production Control, Production, Procurement, Logistics, QA, QE, and Engineering.

Job Specific Responsibilities

• Confirmation of New Model Packaging Specification and Design, lashing or tightening tools and equipment are in accordance with safety standards using PDCA and FMEA.

• Conducts study and risk assessment in preparation for new model, new packaging, and/or new ways of tightening the MC units.

• Ensures availability of buffer parts to support claims before mass production.

• Analyze and review previous model quality and technical issues for mitigation purposes and ensure countermeasures are issued before mass production and/or prepare parts for mitigation.

• Confirmation of flat rate and ensures uploading to Ynspire before mass production.

• Review NG occurrence in trial production and prepare countermeasures before mass production.

• Ensures that all activities before trial production and before mass production are in compliance with safety and health standards, standard operating procedures, guidelines, company rules, and regulations.

• Conducts or spearheads duplication or evaluation activities for the occurrence of NG during unpacking or other unpacking irregularities using PDCA and FMEA. Generates reports and discusses insights or improvements.

• Manage data bank for NG occurrence, communicate with origin, and monitor mitigation and countermeasures.

• Generate weekly and monthly TSPR KPI results.

• Support service activities including but not limited to:

  • Service activities upon request like At Your Service/MQS.
  • ME/AU activities in specific locations or regions.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical course or any related field.

• Atleast 0-1 year work experience in motorcycle

• Knowledge of motorcycle or automotive industry is an advantage

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
