You will conduct time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and manpower optimization, while leading continuous improvement initiatives and supporting new product introductions and line setups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience or above in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proficient in using industrial engineering tools and techniques, such as process mapping, value stream analysis, and statistical process control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management systems
• Knowledge of ERP/MES systems is an advantage
• Experience in using process improvement and engineering tools

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and techniques to eliminate waste and optimise workflows.
• Focus on improving the manufacturing process from Laser Marking, Comp Prep, until packaging but not limited to improving other processes outside this scope
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and manpower optimization.
• Establish and improve standard work instructions, process standards, and work methods.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Review the PFC, PMP of all models to correlate with CPS, SPI/BOM, and TCM.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Analyze production data and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to resolve process-related issues.
• Support new product introduction, process validation, and production line setup.
• Lead or participate in audits, improvement projects, cost reduction programs, and productivity enhancement initiatives.

About the role

AcBel Polytech (Phils.) Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Industrial Engineer to join our team in Calamba City, Laguna. This full-time role will be responsible for optimising our manufacturing processes and maximising efficiency within our operations. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing
