Triangle Holdings System Corporation is seeking a Production Planning support professional to analyze processes, balance capacity, and coordinate scheduling across multiple lines. You will drive improvements in efficiency, ensure timely job loading, and maintain documentation for SOPs and work instructions.
The role requires collaboration with Production, QA, Planning, Sales, and Logistics to align plans with delivery commitments and manage risks and contingencies in a fast-paced manufacturing
Conduct Time and Motion Studies (TMS) for printing, die-cutting, folding, gluing, lamination, and binding.
Analyze workflows, layouts, and material flow to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Standardize machine cycle times and define capacity per machine and per shift.
Recommend improvements to reduce setup time, idle time, and downtime.
Establish the "one best method" for all critical processes.
Define process sequence, manpower, tools, and material requirements.
Assist and act as backup Production Planner when needed.
Prepare and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on job orders and forecasts.
Monitor plan vs. actual performance and update schedules accordingly.
Coordinate with Production Supervisors to ensure execution of plans.
Support priority setting and job loading across machines and processes.
Review and validate Job Orders (JO) to ensure all materials are complete before release.
Assign job priorities and communicate loading plans to all process owners.
Monitor job progress and ensure updates are properly logged in the system.
Coordinate with Subcon for outsourced processes and follow up on commitment dates.
Analyze machine utilization and manpower allocation per shift.
Support capacity planning and load balancing across lines and shifts.
Identify capacity constraints and recommend adjustments (e.g., OT, shifting, re-sequencing or subcontracting).
Ensure alignment of production capacity with demand requirements.
Monitor Plan vs. Actual output, downtime, and attainment per line or machine.
Generate daily and weekly reports on schedule performance and productivity.
Highlight risks and recommend countermeasures to ensure targets are met.
Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, plan vs. actual attainment, and machine utilization.
Analyze data and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency and output consistency
Prepare and submit reports on production performance, delays, and issues affecting attainment.
Provide analytical insights for management decision-making.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Create Work Instructions, Job Aids, and Checklists.
Ensure all processes are documented and consistently followed.
Drive compliance with quality and safety standards.
Work closely with Production, QA, Planning, Sales, and Logistics.
Ensure alignment of production schedules with delivery commitments.
Communicate risks, delays, and recovery plans.
Train and coach operators on process improvements and standards.
Monitor production costs and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operating expenses.
Utilize Planning Systems and other digital tools to optimize scheduling and resource management.
Ensure data accuracy and timely updates in the planning system.
