Job summary

Indsec is seeking a Dealer/Sales Trader with a proven background in institutional equities to service and expand its client base. The role focuses on executing cash trades and managing relationships with Insurance Companies, Mutual funds, Pension Funds, and FIIs.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid track record in trade execution and a proactive approach to growing share of wallet, while collaborating closely with back-office teams and senior traders to ensure top-tier service.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years on an institutional equities desk as Dealer/Sales Trader.
• Experience dealing with Insurance Companies, Mutual funds, Pension Funds and FIIs.
• Proven track record in trade execution and growing share of wallet.

Responsibilities

• Execute cash-segment trades for clients (CD, Limit Orders, Volume-based, Market, Basket).
• Coordinate with back office for day-end activities.
• Demonstrate responsiveness and eagerness to grow within equity sales.
• Maintain strong client relationships with clear communication and professional networking.

Desired Candidate Profile

• – The ideal candidate will have worked at an institutional equities desk as Dealer/Sales Trader of a broking firm (min. 3 years) with experience of dealing and servicing Insurance Companies, Mutual funds, Pension Funds, and FII’s.
• – Ability to service and grow share of wallet from existing clients and a proven track record in execution of trades is essential.

Responsibilities & Skills

• – Execute trades in cash segment for clients (such as CD, Limit Orders, Volume Based, Market Orders, Basket orders)
• – Coordinate with back office for day end activities
• – Responsiveness & eagerness to grow within equity sales
• – Should be great at relationship management, possess strong communication skills and be eager to learn from senior traders.
• – Leveraging on professional network and experience to pitch for new clients is an added plus
