Responsibilities

• Check and approve booking schedules for raw material shipments and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with brokers, forwarders, and suppliers regarding shipments through customs clearance.
• Validate duties and taxes computations prepared by customs brokers.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Inbound Team regarding unloading schedules and capacity.
• Monitor all inbound shipments through the Import Shipment Monitoring process.
• Ensure delivered shipments are properly inbounded into SAP.
• Prepare and communicate daily and weekly shipment monitoring reports.
• Obtain quotations from logistics service providers in coordination with the Logistics Supervisor.
• Validate service provider billings and supporting attachments for timely processing.
• Conduct monthly checking of the Broker's Scorecard and participate in quarterly Business Reviews.

About the role

The Inbound Logistics Senior Specialist will support the Integrated Logistics team in managing end-to-end inbound shipments and freight forwarding activities. The role will coordinate closely with suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely shipment processing, customs clearance, accurate documentation, and smooth inbound delivery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Check and approve booking schedules for raw material shipments and shipping documents in accordance with the awarded forwarder
• Coordinate with brokers, forwarders, and suppliers regarding incoming shipments through customs clearance
• Validate duties and taxes computations prepared by customs brokers
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Inbound Team regarding unloading schedules and warehouse capacity for incoming container vans
• Monitor all inbound shipments through the Import Shipment Monitoring process
• Ensure delivered shipments are properly inbounded into the SAP system
• Prepare and communicate daily and weekly shipment monitoring reports for CCAC operations
• Obtain quotations from logistics service providers, including forwarders and brokers, in coordination with the Logistics Supervisor
• Validate service provider billings and supporting attachments to ensure billing accuracy and timely processing
• Conduct monthly checking of the Broker's Scorecard and participate in quarterly Business Reviews with brokers

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in import/export, inbound logistics, freight forwarding, customs, or related functions
• Import/Export certification
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in shipment documentation, customs requirements, billing, and compliance
• Business and Financial Acumen
• Preferred: Licensed Customs Broker
• Preferred: At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Preferred: Additional import/export certifications
