Job Summary:

Responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of Final Acid Filler, Blinder and Level Check Machine, Responsible of quality finished battery product by ensuring efficient machine operation, lessen downtime due to machine breakdown and 100% machine utilization.

1. Inspect machine for chronic defects and report immediately to immediate superior if found any.




2. Maintain production line yields target by ensuring strict compliance to prescribed procedures and work instructions.




3. Ensure that the machine is operable prior of production.




4. Inform superior on any problems regarding quality aspects encountered during acid filling/blinding and leveling process. Whether quality concern, productivity matter, product non-conformance or machine / instrument breakdown.




5. Ensure that machines are set-up operated adjusted according to the company’s operating procedure and satisfy all process condition specification.




6. Ensure accurate measurements and recording of all quality parameters and process parameters in production reports ensuring that all product and process are within the specified quality limits.




7. Together with Line Leader/Production Technician and Equipment Engineer, lead team members in problem solving techniques to solve and eliminates operational and quality problems and develop projects towards continuous improvement of working conditions.




8. Ensures that all parts of filler/blinder and acid level check, its accessories and auxiliaries are operated and maintained in accordance with the companies SOP and of the manufacturing operating standards.




9. Perform effectively and consistently the preventive maintenance schedules and programs on Acid filler, Acid blender and Acid level check machine to ensure that these are always in top running condition.




10. During manual washing, ensure that the batteries are washed thoroughly removing all dirt and stains caused by formation process.




11. Performs and maintain good housekeeping in the working areas.




12. Observe compliance to safety requirements and Environmental Standards in the production area and proper safekeeping of all personal protective equipment.




13. Perform other duties as assigned by his Supervisor.

Qualifications
Knowledge

1. Formal Education : High School Graduate / Technical Course Graduate / College Undergraduate.




2. Experience : Able to operate, set-up, trouble shoot machines.




3. Others : Knowledge of PBI Quality System and concern work Instructions.
