Job summary

Benchmark 365 in Cebu City is seeking a hands‑on senior MSP engineer to independently own complex escalations across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, networking and endpoints. You’ll lead significant technical change and elevate the capability of engineers around you.

You will work across customer environments on behalf of MSP partners, tackling difficult problems and serving as the go‑to expert when others can’t find the answer. This is an office‑based role requiring local presence in Cebu.

Qualifications

• Recent hands-on experience in an MSP, IT services or multi‑customer environment.
• 5+ years of systems, infrastructure or cloud engineering experience, including time as the final escalation point.
• Advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP skills.
• Solid networking knowledge across TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs.
• Hands‑on delivery of migrations, implementations or significant infrastructure change.
• Clear professional English and the ability to explain technical impact, risk and options.
• The ability to work consistently from our Cebu office.

Responsibilities

• Own complex incidents end to end as the final technical escalation point.
• Diagnose issues across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, Active Directory, endpoints, networks, firewalls, VPNs, virtualisation and backup.
• Lead technical responses to business‑critical and security incidents.
• Manage vendor support cases while retaining ownership of the outcome.
• Take technical ownership of migrations, implementations, upgrades and remediation projects.
• Present options and recommendations where decisions involve commercial considerations or risk.
• Coach L1 and L2 engineers through peer review, knowledge transfer and runbooks.

We’re looking for a hands‑on senior MSP engineer who can independently own complex escalations, diagnose across infrastructure, Microsoft 365, networking and endpoints, lead significant technical change, and raise the capability of the engineers around them.

The kind of problems you’ll own

Our L3 engineers handle work such as:

• Troubleshooting complex Azure Virtual Desktop, Entra ID and Conditional Access issues
• Designing and delivering multi-site networks across firewalls, VLANs and voice/SIP services
• Leading root‑cause investigations into recurring RDS, server and business‑critical application problems
• Building automation using Intune and Entra ID where native vendor integrations fall short
• Taking ownership of complex, long-running infrastructure problems and engineering permanent fixes

What you’ll do

What you must bring

• Recent hands‑on experience in an MSP, IT services or multi‑customer environment. This is non‑negotiable. Internal‑IT‑only experience will not be enough for this role.
• 5+ years of systems, infrastructure or cloud engineering experience, including time as the final escalation point
• Advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills
• Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP skills
• Solid networking knowledge across TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs
• Hands‑on delivery of migrations, implementations or significant infrastructure change
• Clear professional English and the ability to explain technical impact, risk and options
• The ability to work consistently from our Cebu office

It would be great if you also bring

Experience with Intune, Autopilot, Defender, Conditional Access, Azure, VMware or Hyper‑V, backup and disaster recovery, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, APIs or Power Automate. Experience mentoring engineers and relevant industry certifications are also valuable.
