Job summary

Avesco Marketing Corp. is seeking an Import Logistics Coordinator in Metro Manila to manage end-to-end import shipments from PO to delivery.

You will coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, ensure compliance with import laws, track status, and handle related costs and reporting. This role demands meticulous records keeping and cross-functional collaboration with warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor import shipments from purchase order to delivery.
• Prepare and verify import documents.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import laws, and company policies.
• Track shipment status and provide updates to relevant departments.
• Calculate and verify import costs, duties, taxes, and other charges.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and customs clearance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of import transactions and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of imported goods.
• Prepare reports related to import activities and costs.
