Job summary

Manila Recruitment Limited is assisting a global supply chain solutions company seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist in Taguig, Philippines. The role focuses on coordinating trades, handling import/export procedures, customs, and documentation to ensure on-time delivery through the in-house Suite system.

You will liaise with brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams, monitor shipments, manage invoices and payments, and support domestic operations including sugar distribution.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of experience in import/export trade, shipping logistics, or related operations.
• Familiarity with customs clearance and shipment documentation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to act with integrity when dealing with confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of completed trades including post-trade activities and day-to-day execution of contracts.
• Handle import/export procedures, customs declarations and related documentation.
• Create shipment and delivery records in the in-house system.
• Monitor shipment progress and address delays, customs issues, and other concerns.
• Liaise with brokers and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance and payment of charges.
