Mckupler Inc. is seeking an Import & Customs Coordinator to join our growing team in Davao City, Philippines. This full-time role manages movement of goods across borders and ensures compliance with import regulations and documentation requirements.

The successful candidate will liaise with customs brokers, shipping agents, and internal teams to keep shipments on schedule, calculate duties, tariffs, and taxes, and maintain accurate records for audits and management reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in customs clearance, import/export operations or related supply chain functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine customs regulations, import procedures, and international trade compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with customs documentation and familiarity with relevant software systems and databases.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing complex customs documentation.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to liaise professionally with external parties including customs officials and shipping agents.
  • Problem-solving capabilities and proactive approach to resolving customs and logistics challenges.
  • Knowledge of HS codes, tariff classifications, and incoterms is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn specialised logistics software.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and submitting import documentation to customs authorities.

  • Coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to verify shipment details and product specifications.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce customs clearance times and associated costs.
  • Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, sanctions laws, and company import policies.
  • Investigating discrepancies or non-compliance issues and coordinating corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Preparing reports on import activities, customs compliance metrics, and cost analysis for management review.

About the role

Mckupler Inc. is seeking an Import & Customs Coordinator to join our growing team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in managing the movement of goods across international borders. As Import & Customs Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements. This role is instrumental in maintaining the smooth flow of our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver products to customers efficiently and in accordance with all legal requirements.

Key responsibilities
