Job summary

Prime Technology Specialist Incorporated in the Philippines is seeking a Project Manager to oversee telecom deployment projects from pre-sales to delivery. You will participate in bidding, shape solution designs, and negotiate contracts to ensure feasible implementations on large-scale sites.

The role requires 3+ years in telecom project management, strong leadership of a 20+ person team, and solid knowledge of local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.
• 3+ years project management experience in telecom equipment deployment.
• PMP or engineer certification preferred.
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and work permits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a project team of 20+ members and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in bidding, projects solution design, and contract negotiation in order to ensure the delivery feasibility during pre-sales phase
2. Identify and control the risks, manage project delivery based on the project plan, budget, and quality requirements, and ensure all objectives/goals are met.
3. Execute project within the budget, improve delivery efficiency, control the cost and change, be responsible for the result of project profitability
4. Develop project governance model and reporting mechanism internally and externally, keep proper communication with customers and ensure customer satisfaction
5. Improve the delivery capability by coaching engineers and subcontractors via knowledge transfer, mentoring, workshop and etc.
6. Manage civil work end to end construction, from site survey, site acquisition, tower upgrade, power upgrade and transmission as well as other processes related to site readiness to support telecom equipment implementation

Qualifications:

1. Education background: Candidates should possess a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
2. Working experience:3+ yrs project management experience in telecom equipment deployment. Familiar with site survey, site acquisition, tower upgrade, power upgrade and transmission as well as telecom equipment implementation
3. Prefer to have: PMP Certification or Engineer Certification in local or international institution
4. Professional Knowledge: Project management methodologies, MEP construction site management. Well understand the Philippine’s local construction regulations, including but not limited to work permit.
5. Professional skills : Good communication and interpersonal skills (such as team building ,conflict management, cross culture management)
6. People Management: Have excellent skill and knowledge to lead project team to achieve the project target (no less than 20 person in project team) as well as managing all stakeholders to support site readiness
