Job summary

Hexagon Shared Services Inc is seeking an IT Project Implementation Specialist to join our team in Manila. You will work with the Project Engineer to execute the approved implementation plan and blueprint, preparing system configurations, conducting testing, and deploying project-related solutions throughout the lifecycle.

You will also handle client training, business reviews, data migration, onsite/offsite support, and ensure comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year IT degree; strong OS and cloud familiarity encouraged.
• 1–2 years in implementing IT products, preferably with Red Hat/OpenShift.
• Experience with virtualization, containerization, and database basics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Project Engineer to execute approved implementation plans and blueprints.
• Prepares system configurations, testing (internal/external/UAT), and live deployment.
• Delivers project life-cycle activities incl. training, business review, data migration, and updates.
• Ensures documentation such as training, configuration, and logs are maintained.
• Provides ongoing client support during implementation and ISO document work.

Job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with the Project Engineer in executing the approved implementation plan and blueprint of the project.

• Prepares and executives the following:

  • System-related configuration

  • Internal and External Testing

  • User Acceptance Testing

  • Project Live Run

  • Deploys project-related solutions and fixes during the project life cycle.

• Conducts the following activity during the project life cycle:

  • Training of clients

  • Business Review

  • Configuration

  • Data Migration

  • Onsite and offsite assistance

  • Project updates

• Ensures that the following documentations are in place:

  • Training Document

  • Business Process Requirement Documentation

  • Configuration Document

  • System Line-run Documentation

  • Project Closure

  • Minutes of the Meeting

  • Issue and Solution Logs

• Provides ongoing support for customers during implementation.

• Creates, modifies and releases ISO-related documents

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably have at least 1-2 year of experience in implementing IT products preferably Redhat Technology (JBOSS/ Openshift)

• Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Operating Systems: Linux, Windows Server. (Familiar)

  • Cloud Computing: AWS, Azure, GCP. (Familiar)

  • Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP. (Familiar)

  • Programming & Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash for automation, Java

  • Basic scripting

  • Virtualization & Containerization: VMware, Docker, Kubernetes. (Familiar)

  • Databases: SQL. (Familiar)

• Graduate of any 4-year course or college degree, preferably BSIT, BS Computer Science, BS Computer Engineering, or any IT-related courses.

Working condition: Hybrid work set up - 3 days onsite
