Job summary

World Food Programme is seeking a Programme Policy Officer (Monitoring & Evaluation) to co-manage the RAM unit’s M&E workstream in Cotabato City, Philippines. You will coordinate monitoring and evaluation systems, lead data analysis, and support policy development and donor reporting.

The role requires advanced degrees in relevant fields, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with partners and government counterparts to improve food security programmes.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s) in economics, food security, statistics, data science, public health/nutrition, geography or related field.
• Experience in planning, programming, implementation, VAM, and M&E of technical cooperation programmes is required.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage WFP’s Monitoring & Evaluation workstream and support RAM unit activities.
• Coordinate M&E systems to ensure data collection, quality, and timely reporting.
• Lead data analysis and prepare outputs (graphs, tables, reports) for dissemination.
• Support capacity strengthening for staff and partners in M&E, food security and protection.
• Represent WFP in meetings with partners and contribute to technical discussions.
