Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company in the Philippines is seeking a Technical Operator to oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of production equipment, driving KPIs such as quality, safety and cost during shifts.

You will gain hands-on experience across multiple lines, coach operators, and collaborate with technicians to reduce waste and downtime while upholding Food Safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• College degree or 3-year technical course graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control, Automation, Electro-Mechanic or TMICC/MRIC’s Technical Operator Training Program.
• Ability to organize, lead and coach a team.
• Reading and comprehension skills in English.
• Arithmetic skills and basic English verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, improve and repair (OMIR) equipment to meet production targets safely and on time.
• Conduct changeovers, basic repairs and adjustments (cams, belts, bearings, pulleys) with proper lubrication.
• Monitor equipment condition using ICMS tools and collaborate with SST/MST to resolve contamination and hard-to-reach issues.
• Lead shift manpower coordination, induction of new employees, and provide coaching to Machine Operators/Manufacturing Crew.
• Identify losses and drive Kaizen projects to improve line performance and reduce waste.
• Enforce Safety, Health and Environment procedures and perform SBOs as part of daily routines.
