Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Manila is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (Band 1) to help maintain, monitor, and upgrade production systems across digital products. You will implement observability, automation, and incident response to support reliability and scalability.

The role focuses on defining SLAs/SLOs/SLIs, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams, and driving improvements across infrastructure, monitoring, and processes.

Qualifications

• Automation scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell and SQL for DB management.
• Strong IT operations background with Linux/Unix and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of networks and databases and incident response methods.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of ITIL Service Management and SLAs/SLOs/SLIs.
• Ability to assess operational KPIs and drive improvements across apps and infra.
• Familiar with SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication translating tech to business terms.

Responsibilities

• Incident management and monitoring to meet SLAs/SLOs/SLIs.
• Root cause analysis and postmortems to improve incident response.
• Automation and process improvement to reduce manual tasks.
• Provide guidance to Product, Platform, and Software Eng teams on supportability and scalability.
• Administer platform infrastructure and oversee change management procedures.
• Oversee vendor management and contribute to product roadmaps.
• Prepare for Day 1 readiness for pilots and go-live.
• Drive observability with monitoring, metrics, and knowledge sharing.
