Job summary
Astreya is seeking a System Administrator II to join our technical operations team in the Philippines. You will maintain and troubleshoot a hybrid fleet of Windows and Linux endpoints/servers, including BOS workstations, and support core network services.
You will be the escalation point for complex issues, monitor fleet health with Datadog, handle health-check scripts, manage DNS/DHCP, and ensure SLA adherence in ticketing via ITSM platforms. Strong automation mindset preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong Windows and Linux administration skills (CLI, systemd, logs).
- Experience with Datadog monitoring and alerting dashboards.
- Basic Bash scripting for health checks and automation.
- ITIL/ITSM familiarity including SLA tracking and ticket workflows.
- Experience in IT Managed Services or NOC/Operations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support Windows and Linux endpoints/servers.
- Administer BOS machines used by Building Management Systems for IoT devices.
- Monitor fleet health with Datadog and respond to threshold alerts.
- Handle ITSM tickets and ensure SLA adherence; escalate as needed.
- Diagnose network connectivity from physical layer to config changes.
