Job summary

Sysgen RPO is seeking a DevOps/Systems Admin with 2+ years in technical support or cloud operations to join our operations team in the Philippines. You will validate releases, support AWS resources and Windows servers, and manage SQL Server databases, while building automation with Terraform and PowerShell.

Datadog monitoring and Octopus Deploy will be part of daily tasks, along with on-call coverage and cert pursuit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in technical support, systems administration, DevOps, cloud operations, or a related technical role.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Familiarity with scripting, infrastructure as code, and Git-based source control. Experience with PowerShell, Terraform, or GitHub is preferred.
• Familiarity with monitoring or observability platforms such as Datadog.
• Experience supporting Tyler Enterprise ERP products is preferred.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or another relevant technical certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technical Support, Sales, Development, and Implementation teams to validate releases and improve platform stability.
• Provide operational support for AWS resources and client environments.
• Administer Windows servers and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Build and maintain automation and infrastructure as code using Terraform, PowerShell, and GitHub.
• Improve platform monitoring and observability using Datadog.
• Support deployments and release validation using Octopus Deploy and related delivery tools.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, document solutions, and reduce recurring manual work.
• Participate in the PagerDuty on-call rotation.
• Pursue relevant technical training and certifications.
