Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced full-stack software engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable features using React on the frontend and NestJS on the backend. You will architect APIs, own features end-to-end, and collaborate with product and design teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to engineering best practices, and participate in KT sessions for Singapore in October and Manila from November to December, with a hybrid work setup and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and NestJS/Node.js.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven mentoring or leadership of engineers and effective collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features using React frontend and NestJS backend.
• Architect scalable APIs and contribute to data modeling and system design.
• Own features from design through deployment and production monitoring.
• Write clean, well-tested TypeScript code and participate in code reviews.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and raise technical standards.
