Manulife Financial is seeking a Financial Analyst to support WAM Asia Hong Kong Accounting and Reporting, delivering timely financial statements and clear variance analysis across Asia-Pacific business units.

The role offers regional collaboration with stakeholders in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and other markets. You will contribute to month-end close, consolidation, and strategic reporting while developing expertise in regional finance operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant finance experience in financial reporting, management accounting, consolidation, or related finance functions.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience handling large volumes of financial data and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries, financial statements, and management reports.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reporting, consolidation activities, commentary, and variance analysis for WAM Asia business units.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across Asia to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of accounting and reporting requirements.
• Maintain accounting and reporting controls, documentation, and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Contribute to regional finance initiatives, process improvements, standardization efforts, and ad hoc business requests.
