Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Paralegal to support the Legal team in the Litigation Division, handling cases filed with courts and quasi-judicial bodies under guidance of the CLO and Sr. Litigation Lawyer.

You will monitor case progress, attend hearings, file pleadings, organize files, draft simple pleadings and letters, and maintain good interdepartmental relations. The role offers a hybrid work setup and a stable career path in a dynamic financial services company.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years experience as a Paralegal.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Pleading writing skills.
• Good legal research skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Honesty and integrity.
• Pleasant and engaging.
• 8 Flexible work ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lawyers in Handling Cases under the Litigation Division by monitoring the progress of cases including following up with the court or Quasi-Judicial Agency.
• Attending meetings and hearings (in cases permitted by the relevant Rules, Policies and Practices).
• Filing and service of pleadings and other allied documents.
• Organizing and updating the case files.
• Drafting simple pleadings, letters, documents, needed by Litigation Lawyers.
• Maintain good business relationship with other departments by rendering appropriate assistance.
• Comply with the Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and other Company Policies and Regulations.
• Other tasks which may be delegated by the Immediate Supervisor the Head of the Litigation Division and the Head of the Department relative to the foregoing.
