Job summary

Comcast is seeking a security-focused professional to execute security policies and maintain current defenses for the company’s network assets. You will partner with Network Operations and research enhancements to strengthen security across the environment.

Responsibilities include implementing safeguards, directing engineers, updating disaster recovery plans, and leading audits. The role requires flexibility with shifts, including nights and weekends, in a hybrid setup at GLAS Tower, Ortigas

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in security, networking, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective implementation of network security safeguards in line with policies.
• Direct Network and Systems Engineers to apply security best practices.
• Collaborate with Network Operations to validate and update disaster recovery plans.
• Develop policies for security incident responses and team training.
• Research emerging technologies to strengthen security infrastructure.
• Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments for network security.
• Lead internal and external security audits to uphold compliance and identify risks.
• Communicate security requirements to project teams.
