Job summary

Comcast Business seeks a hands-on network engineer to join our engineering teams. You will perform activations, migrations, and troubleshooting across SD-WAN, IPsec, NaaS, MPLS, and SSL VPN, interfacing with vendors and customers to ensure seamless deployments.

Responsibilities include configuring routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), integrating cloud services (Azure, AWS), and deploying Fortinet and SilverPeak virtual appliances. Hybrid onsite/remote work with a shiftable schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-7 Years of relevant work experience
• Experience with network activations and migrations
• Cloud service experience (Azure, AWS)
• Fortinet/Meraki routing devices experience

Responsibilities

• Perform network activations for Comcast customers.
• Support migrations to SD-WAN, IPsec, NaaS, MPLS, and SSL VPN.
• Configure routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Design routing policies and validate traffic flow.
• Collaborate with carriers to troubleshoot internet circuit issues.
• Activate and configure cloud services (Azure, AWS).
• Deploy FortiGate VM and SilverPeak appliances.
• Maintain thorough documentation and tickets.
