HR TechX Corp in the Philippines is seeking a Fund Accounting professional to oversee NAV calculations, financial statements, and client deliverables for hedge fund and alternative investment clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Fund Accounting, Hedge Funds, Fund Administration, or Financial Services.
• Strong knowledge of NAV calculations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and fund accounting processes.
• Experience supervising, leading, or managing team members is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Amenable to working in a hybrid setup and on shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee fund administration activities for a portfolio of hedge fund and alternative investment clients.
• Prepare, review, and/or approve NAV calculations, financial statements, and related reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client deliverables in accordance with established service level agreements.
• Monitor daily workflows, manage priorities, and coordinate operational activities within the team.
• Review and authorize transactions, payments, and accounting-related activities as required.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, auditors, brokers, banks, investment managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify, investigate, and escape issues impacting fund accounting operations and client service delivery.
• Support year-end audits, financial statement preparation, regulatory filings, and tax-related requirements.
• Train, coach, mentor, and support the development of team members.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
• Participate in client onboarding, migrations, transitions, and other special projects as needed.
• Contribute to resource planning, workload management, and achievement of team performance objectives.
