Job summary

HedgeServ Philippines is seeking a Fund Accountant (Credit-based Funds) to support NAV production, reconciliations, and processing of corporate actions under supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to HedgeServ procedures, with induction and AML/KYC training provided.

The successful candidate will perform daily NAV checks, cash and position reconciliations, and assist during audits, while working in a hybrid setup and aligning with European hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a similar role
• Accounting, Finance, Legal or any business related degree course
• Intention to actively pursue a professional accounting qualification CPA is an advantage
• IT literate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and well organized
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to be flexible and work effectively both within a team structure and independently
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Good initiative tempered with identifying when escalation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of NAV of credit based funds
• Perform cash, position and market value reconciliations
• Identify and investigate break items on reconciliations
• Escalate fund accounting issues to supervisor
• Ensure all positions are priced correctly
• Verify corporate actions and bank loan events
• Prepare accrual checks and daily P&L reports
• Calculate and process income and expense accruals
• Comply with defined checklists and controls
• Assist in the audit process if required
• Attend team meetings
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues
• Meet pre agreed deadlines
• Adapt to a client-focused structure and hybrid work model
