Job summary

Sysgen RPO, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the Workforce Mobile team in our Manila, Philippines office.

You will guide a talented group of engineers developing a native mobile application and drive real-time issue resolution capabilities. The role partners with Product Management, Architecture, and peer Engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable software for public sector users in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Experience leading teams that develop and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and/or Android.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and secure, scalable design.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum or similar).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to drive decisions and manage multiple priorities across workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of software engineers responsible for building and maintaining mobile applications.
• Partner with product management, architecture, platform operations, and support to align development priorities with business goals and customer outcomes.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers through regular one-on-ones and performance evaluations.
• Drive adoption of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to improve delivery velocity and reliability.
• Balance roadmap execution with operational escalations and protect team capacity.
• Define and track KPIs to measure team health and delivery effectiveness.
• Contribute to evolution of Workforce Mobile products and cloud modernization efforts.
• Champion process improvement initiatives across the team.
