Mobile Apps Software Engineer (React Native)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Apps Software Engineer specializing in React Native to join a growing engineering team responsible for developing innovative mobile application solutions for enterprise clients and consumers.

In this role, you will be involved in the greenfield development of mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with Product and UX teams to shape technical requirements, contribute to application architecture, and deliver high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.

• Lead and contribute to hands-on architecture, technical design, and software development.

• Participate in greenfield mobile application development and deliver solutions for enterprise clients and end users.

• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to define requirements, technical roadmaps, and application architecture.

• Develop and implement efficient, scalable, and high-performance mobile application solutions.

• Apply effective Agile development practices, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, tools, and development practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Strong hands-on experience in mobile application development using React Native for both iOS and Android.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience working with Redux and ReactJS.

• Proven experience designing and building mission-critical, high-performance mobile applications used by the general public.

• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, development, and optimization.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:

• Mobile application monitoring, analytics, and performance optimization.

• Mobile application security.

• Customer authentication integrations, including Apple, Google, and third-party authentication frameworks.

• Push notifications and third-party SDK integrations.

• Apple App Store and Google Play Store configuration and optimization.

• Experience developing airline, travel, or travel-related mobile applications.

• Exposure to Huawei App Store or HarmonyOS.
