Job summary

Share Treats Innovation is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Systems Engineer to help build, maintain, and secure our IT infrastructure. In this entry-to-mid-level role, you will collaborate with our team to ensure system performance, high availability, and proactive security in a hybrid setup (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years of practical experience in a System Engineer or similar IT support role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• OS Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems (CentOS and Ubuntu).
• Web Application Servers: Understanding of application servers such as NGINX and Tomcat.
• Core Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain complex IT systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and design customized solutions.
• Install and configure servers, networks, and related hardware and software.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Monitor system performance and security, implementing proactive measures.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions.
• Assist in the resolution of technical issues and provide timely support to clients.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
