Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Statutory Reporting professional to ensure accurate regulatory financial reporting for life and non-life insurance entities. You will work with global stakeholders on quarterly and annual filings, prepare board-ready analyses, and support audits and process improvements in a hybrid setup in the Philippines.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in accounting or regulatory reporting, with experience in Essbase/SmartView or similar tools, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or regulatory reporting experience
• Experience using accounting and reporting systems and financial reporting tools such as Essbase, SmartView, general ledger platforms, or similar applications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage statutory and regulatory financial reporting deliverables for life and non-life insurance entities, including quarterly and annual filings, exhibits, schedules, and financial statements
• Coordinate with business unit stakeholders to support financial close activities, related-party reporting, annual certifications, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, monitor ledger activity, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Develop board reporting materials and financial analyses, including commentary on key financial results, trends, and unusual variances
• Drive process improvements, maintain strong documentation, support audits and special projects, and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency
