Job summary

Coronis Health is seeking an Inpatient Medical Coder in Mandaluyong for a full-time hybrid role combining on-site and work-from-home flexibility. The coder will review records, interpret documentation, assign inpatient codes, and ensure compliance with guidelines to support accurate reimbursement.

The ideal candidate has inpatient coding experience, RHIT or equivalent credentials, and familiarity with ICD-10-CM/PCS, DRG, and payer rules.

Qualifications

• Strong medical coding experience with a focus on inpatient hospital coding.
• Knowledge of Health Information Management and RHIT or similar credentials.
• Solid understanding of Medical Terminology and clinical documentation used in inpatient settings.
• Certifications (CCS, RHIT, CPC) and formal training in medical coding are beneficial.
• Experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS, DRG assignment, and payer rules is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and physician documentation for accurate coding.
• Apply coding standards and validate medical necessity to support reimbursement.
• Collaborate with billing/RCM teams to resolve coding queries and monitor productivity.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes, payer policies, and code set changes.
